For healthcare companies, implementing the right technology solution is only half of the equation.

Just as important is data — where it lives, how it is governed, and the manner in which your teams can access and collaborate with it.

No matter what kind of process, application, or report you are working towards, HighPoint can get your data integrated securely and efficiently. We understand the need for airtight data governance — and know how to prevent data leaks. We’re experienced in digital transformations. And we can break down information silos to enable your teams to work smarter — together.

That’s because long-term success begins with collaboration, with internal departments and business partners alike.

For healthcare clients, collaboration can encompass everything from routine communications to regulated and non-regulated content management, document management, and portal and application development. With that in mind, we make it our job to enable collaboration across and outside your entire organization.

Portals are at the core of many healthcare corporate communications strategies — in both internal and public-facing scenarios. HighPoint has developed hundreds of portals for our clients’ business units, opening up communication that goes beyond email communication, often serving as the central communications hub for an entire department or business unit.

Intranet Portals
HighPoint’s intranet and department portals have won awards for both design and functionality. But we’re more proud to say our custom development work was able to meet the needs of small and large clients alike.

Functional Portals and Websites
No matter the scenario or need, our team can build to meet it. We’ve developed portals ranging from a program and portfolio management site designed for content organization to a digital assets platform that enabled secure client/agency collaboration.

How should healthcare organizations choose between the array of available cloud-based document storage services? What are the rules governing how these systems are implemented, and how their data is integrated with content management systems? And who ensures users can access the right data — without compromising security?

HighPoint helps clients differentiate and assess cloud document solutions, choosing software that meets their strategic needs — and regulatory requirements. We also guide healthcare organizations seeking to migrate data from legacy systems to platforms like, OneDrive, Teams, Groups, SharePoint Online, and Veeva, all while preventing data loss and enabling e-discovery.

With the rapid industry-wide adoption of Office 365, a solid implementation strategy is just the beginning of what most healthcare companies need. HighPoint is experienced not only in the advisement and setup of Office 365, but also its ongoing management — a powerful service option for clients seeking strict data governance while undergoing their digital transformation.

We can show you how to federate your AD accounts, migrate mailboxes to Exchange Online, or leverage SharePoint Online to brand your intranet or spin up custom sites on demand.

There isn’t often — or even usually — an off-the-shelf solution for every strategic need of a healthcare organization. That is why HighPoint’s collaboration team has nurtured a core competency in application development.

With a platform-agnostic approach, we’ve tackled the application needs of our clients across a wide range of technologies, programming languages, and hosting scenarios. We build tools that enable collaboration, and support them with monitoring that keeps our clients’ data secure.

What are some solutions we’ve developed for healthcare companies?

  • Form- and workflow-based service requests available from the intranet or from a website
  • iPad applications to support highly mobile sales forces, delivering timely, accurate, and contextual information from multiple sources within the company
  • Sentiment analyzation and natural language processing to evaluate the public sentiment about a company or product
  • Patient form digitization for the iPad — including arm-band scanning capabilities, and digital record signage and storage
  • Application development for IT services to create a globally accessible corporate directory from any active directory or Azure AD
